Vicon
is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the United
States Postal Service (USPS) to be its exclusive CCTV National
Direct Vendor for all of their video surveillance needs. Accordingly,
Vicon will be the sole source supplier of all CCTV equipment
required by the United States Postal Service.
Vicon is honored to have been awarded this
contract and becoming a valued partner to the USPS for its
security and surveillance needs.
In connection
with the contract, Vicon is offering a USPS Certified Dealer
Program. The program is intended to provide consistent quality
installation at USPS facilities. Our commitment to the USPS
is to ensure a timely, professional, and specification compliant
installation involving little or no USPS intervention from
Dealer selection through installation completion.
All participating USPS Certified Dealers must
be factory trained and certified to perform USPS installations.
At our USPS Certified Dealer Training Workshop, qualifying
dealers learn how to install, troubleshoot, and program a
USPS CCTV system. Dealers successfully completing the Workshop
are permitted/authorized by Vicon to perform USPS installation
and service related labor.
